Withdrawal (A poem by Gyanu BK)
-Gyanu BK
I rummaged
in my Heart, found it not.
Again, in
vain, I did so.
And found
it not.
Already,
yeah already It had streamed away,
Far… Far…
Away……
No hope
now of its return.
Transformed
Is my heart,
Now, more
stronger than before,
More
hopeful than before,
More
cognizant than before
Of not to
fill it again with emotional blood.
Incessantly
was there the withdrawal
OF MY EMOTIONAL B…L…O…O…D…
From my
heart.
HENCE,
It no
longer feels,
No longer
cares,
No longer
cheers,
No longer
cries,
No longer
sings,
No longer
dances,
No longer
hurts,
No longer
trusts,
Worst of
all, It no longer beats.
It only
stifled like ‘‘a fish in an empty aquarium.’’
My heart
entered the turbulence of my emotional blood.
ALAS, the
heart
S-p-l-I-n-t-e-r-e-d,
It
S-p-l-I-n-t-e-r-e-d
Like an empty
splintered Urn.
Born is
the NEW HEART with RATIONAL BLOOD,
It is born
the vehement
With the Withdrawal
of my emotional blood from the OLD HEART.
Where
should I find you, my EMOTIONAL BLOOD???
